Introducing the Adolescent Diversion Program: A New Resource for At-Risk Teens

cpdaac
Teens Participating in Diversion Group

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Adolescent Diversion Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to support adolescents who may be at risk of developing a substance use disorder but don’t yet require outpatient services. This program officially begins on December 9th, and we can’t wait to share this valuable resource with our community.

Why the Adolescent Diversion Program Matters

Adolescence is a critical time of growth and change. For some teens, these years can include exposure to risk factors that could lead to substance use or other unhealthy behaviors. The Adolescent Diversion Program offers a proactive approach to prevention, providing support, education, and resources to help teens stay on a healthy path.

This program is designed to:

  • Educate and empower: Teens learn about the risks of substance use, how to build healthy habits, and how to make informed decisions.

  • Provide early intervention: By addressing concerns early, we help prevent the need for more intensive treatment later on.

  • Foster resilience: Teens gain tools to navigate challenges, build self-esteem, and develop strong coping skills.

Who Is the Program For?

The Adolescent Diversion Program is ideal for young people ages 13 to 17 who may be showing signs of risky behavior or are in environments where substance use is more common. It’s a space where they can explore these challenges in a supportive, non-judgmental setting and learn strategies to avoid unhealthy patterns.

Space Is Limited – Don’t Wait!

Because this is a specialized program, space is limited, and spots are filling up quickly. If you’re interested in enrolling a teen in this program, we strongly encourage you to submit an inquiry through our Diversion Program web page today.

A Community Effort

We believe prevention is a vital part of building a healthier, stronger community. By equipping teens with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive, we’re investing in a brighter future for everyone.

If you know a teen who could benefit from this program or want to learn more, visit our website or reach out to our team. Together, we can help our youth make positive, lasting changes and avoid the pitfalls of substance use.

We’re thrilled to offer this new resource and look forward to making a difference in the lives of the young people we serve.
