Supporting Our Youth: Expanded Adolescent & Family Outpatient Substance Abuse Care

At Center Point DAAC, our commitment to fostering healthier communities continues to grow, and today, we are delighted to announce the expansion of our adolescent outpatient services in Sonoma County, California. Recognizing the unique needs and challenges faced by today's youth and their families, our enhanced range of services aims to provide them with the tools and support they need to thrive. This service is available to residents who live in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Healdsburg, Sonoma, Cloverdale, Cotati, Sebastopol, and other areas of Sonoma County, California.

Spotlight on Expanded Services

Understanding that adolescence can be a tumultuous time, filled with immense growth, change, and challenges, we have widened our array of services to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. Our offerings, which can be explored in detail at cpdaac.org/adolescent-services, have been meticulously designed to resonate with and effectively aid teens and their families. Services are now available in Spanish and by Telehealth/Video and include therapy for co-occurring disorders, mental health medication and medication-assisted treatment options, parent and family groups including educational classes. These services are provided at no-cost to Medi-Cal (Partnership) recipients.

Why the Expansion Matters

  1. Addressing a Growing Need: Teen substance abuse and overdose deaths continue to rise. Our expanded services aim to provide targeted, evidenced-based treatment to save the lives of our most precious resource - our teens. Center Point DAAC is the ONLY provider of substance abuse services for low-income families in Sonoma County.

  2. A Specialized Approach: Adolescents are not simply "young adults." Their needs, experiences, and challenges differ. With our amplified services, we're ensuring that they receive care tailored to their specific stage of life.

  3. Community Building: By supporting our youth, we are investing in the future of Sonoma County. Helping them overcome obstacles now equips them to become healthier, happier adults who can positively contribute to our community.

Our goal is to ensure that adolescents and their families can easily access and navigate the resources available. Here's how to get started:
